2014 Columbus Arts Festival

 BREAKING NEWS ALERT!

Memoire arts has been selected to participate in the Columbus Arts Festival running from Friday June 6th to Sunday June 8th!

Artwork will be located under the Big Local Arts Tent. Come view some of my favorite and most colorful dia de los muertos pieces. Many of these will be on their first showing and have not been seen by the public!

It's going to be an absolutely beautiful weekend to be outside, so why not stop by and culture yourself as well as support local talented artists as well as the extremely talented national artists that have travel a long way to be here in Columbus!

See you there!

In like a Lion out like a Rhinoceros

I don't know about you, but this year's winter has laid a smack down upon me that will be hard to recover from. I have never felt such chills in my bones in all my lifetime.

It's really hard to believe that within a few weeks we will all be outdoors, embracing the sunshine and recovering any lost Vitamin D for our bodies.

Here's some news for those keeping up with my journey.

MEMOIRE ARTS now has artwork for sale at FRIDA KATRINA in the heart of Clintonville on High Street.

The owner has been so gracious to allow me to sell in her very unique store. She sales items from local artists and from well known folk art artists from Mexico. I have a few pieces in my home from her shop. I fear any extra income is going to feed my fuel for all thing sugar skull-y.

If you're down in the area, then stop by and admire all the wonderful artwork and the owner also cooks some really amazing authentic food.

Also, head on over to their Facebook and give them a LIKE!

Art is cool.
Vinyl Records are cooler.
Combining them both will create a MASSIVE explosion of coolness.. cooler than the coolest hipster ever dreamed in his/her coolest of cool dreams.

All joking aside... MEMOIRE ARTS is once again work with Elizabeth's Records over on Indianola to create something unique and exciting to go into their front window for display. Look for pictures soon, but for now here are a couple teasers.
